Tannehill Ironworks Historical State Park covers 1,500 acres of beautiful Alabama countryside. The focal point of the park is the Civil War iron operation that once provided desperately needed iron for the Confederacy. Beautifully restored, the complex provides a fascinating look back in time. The park is also home to the Alabama Iron and Still Museum.
