Torreya State Park
Torreya State Park is located in Northwest Florida between Chattahoochee and Bristol (less than one hour
west of Tallahassee). The park is easily accessed from Interstate 10 and offers picnicking, hiking, camping
and unique natural settings, as well as the Gregory House museum and other historic sites.
A marker interprets the history of Battery Bluff.

Earthworks remain where the Confederates once fortified the bluff to prevent invasion by Union naval vessels.

The bluffs at Torreya provide a commanding view of Florida's Apalachicola River.
