Here’s our annual list of the best Christmas Light displays in Mississippi for 2018!

The Magnolia State is a wonderful place to spend the holidays, with historic B&Bs, the beaches of Biloxi and the Gulf Coast, the Elvis attractions in Tupelo, Natchez, Vicksburg and more. Add some fun to your visit this holiday season by checking out some of these great lighting displays:

Lighted snowflakes hang from beautiful centuries-old live oak trees and thousands of other lights illuminate Downtown Bay St. Louis and Depot Row.

Christmas at Beauvoir

December 7 – December 31, 2018 (Thursdays – Sundays)
Beautiful oak trees in lights, evening tours of the historic home of President Jefferson Davis, special events, hot cocoa,
photos with Santa (Fridays and Saturdays), Model Train Exhibit, Train Rides,  Movies on Thursdays, Live Entertainment
and more.
Times:  6 p.m. – 8 p.m.

Victorian Christmas Festival
Historic Courthouse Square and surrounding area
Canton, Mississippi
November 25 – December 23
Canton’s Historic Courthouse Square is alive with over 200,000 lights. There are parades, train & trolley rides, 135 life-sized holiday figures in Canton’s Magical Animation Museum, the Carousel on the Square and more.
Hours: 5 p.m. – 9 p.m.
Cost:    Small charges for some events and attractions.
Special Events:            Light & Character Parade, Dec. 21-23 at 6:30 p.m. & 8 p.m.

Lazy Acres in Lights  
Lazy Acres Plantation, LLC

Lazy Acres is in lights for the season with a brand new display of interactive lights decorating a 3-acre animal park. On
Thanksgiving and Fridays -Saturday you can view the lights by wagon rides only instead of driving through.
Hayrides through Christmas scenes with storytelling and more!
November 24-December 25th (Thursday, Friday & Saturday nights)
Also open: Dec. 19-23 & Christmas night.
Hours: 6 – 9 p.m. Mon-Thurs; 6-10pm Fri-Sat (Last admission is at 9 p.m.)
Cost: Monday-Thursday $15 per car (Plus Tax), $30 for small passenger vans (plus tax) No Buses
Friday-Saturday $8 per person (Plus tax) Children under two get in free.

Harbor Lights Winter Festival
Jones Park

Gulfport, Mississippi
November 24, 2018 – December 31, 2018
This massive light show can be explored either on foot or on a free heated trolley. Santa will be in Santa’s village every night and there are Elfie Selfie stations throughout the park. Tickets for rides are available for purchase in the park.
Hours: 5:30-9:30 p.m.
Cost:    $10 per person (cash only), ages 4 and under admitted free.



Richardson Light Show

This fantastic family oriented Christmas Display was voted the 3rd Best Private Display in the nation by USA Today in 2014. 2018 brings over 250 inflatables, a 23-foot animated tree and over 100,000 LED lights.
Hours:             Sunday-Thursday, 5:30 – 9 p.m.; Friday-Saturday, 5:30 p.m. – 10 p.m.

Southern Lights at Central Park

November 23 – December 31,  2018 (Closed Christmas Day)
More than 500,000 lights on 116 acres illuminate to Christmas music.
Hours:  Sunday – Thursday, 6 p.m. – 10 p.m.; Friday – Saturday, 6 p.m. – 11 p.m.
Cost: $10 per car; $15 for vans and hayrides; $25 for buses; $5 for motorcycles.
